Summer Love'n

Well I didn't think I had much to blog about till I went to load pictures from my camera on to the computer. Wow I guess we do love our kids enough to get them out of the house every once in awhile. You Gotta Love summer

We went to the American Fork Parade, they were selling these cute umbrellas i just had to get them, and the girls loved them they took them everywhere for the first few days, until I hid them from them. To many people were getting poked in the eye around our house. See they tend to forget about other people once the umbrellas go up.

Scott took the kids Hiking one night when I was working, they have these ponds of water all the kids love to play in which is nice when it is 100 degrees outside. We have been to the pool a lot because of the hot weather.

And of course since we live in Utah we had to celebrate Pioneer Day so we quickly scrambled to find something to do that morning, so we ended up going to breakfast then I hung out with my mom and my sister Megan, And we went to the Orem Owlz Baseball game and fireworks that night, since we had free tickets that have been sitting around for awhile. It was fun once the sun went down and we could see!

The kids started soccer today, it snuck up on me and I still hadn't gone to get them there shin guards, socks and shorts, so they went with out well the girls Mik has all that. It was fun to see the girls play on a team together they just all follow each other all over the field it is like a flock of ducks running to a piece of bread. and every time Halli would run by she would wave Hi or stop and get a drink it was so funny! Kinzie only played a little over half the game she got punched in the stomach by another little boy and that was it, she was done. And yes they do have shorts under those shirts, I am not crazy!

And here I thought we had been neglecting our children I have been working a lot and getting signed up for school( more to come on that), and Scott has been busy with school and work also and did I mention Homework and more Homework!

Mountain of Death!

So this is a picture of Mount Timpanogos, as my kids now call it, "The Mountain of Death"! We made it to the top though.

On Tuesday I decided to hike it alone with the kids (with out Scott). Little did I know that 1.5 mile was straight up, and I would be carrying a 4 year old with a blister on her toe, on my back, and occasionally her sister on the front. I thought we would never get there. I can't tell you how many people passed us on the way up.they would give us the funniest looks, as we were all in flip flops.They never bothered me. The kids would stop about every 10 feet I swear.As we got to the cave one of the Forest Rangers clapped for us, she had seen us on her way up and stopped to talk with us a little. It was well worth the hike. I felt so amazing to have accomplished that alone with the kids. Now I want to do the summit with Scott!

I also met this nice older guy at the top who was a guide there we got talking with him and come to find out he knew Scott, he was his human Biology teacher in High School, and was so excited to meet us, and told us to get Scott's butt up there. So Now Scott wants to go see him so I guess he wants to go next week. we will See if my legs have stopped shaking by then!

4th of july

I almost forgot about the 4th of July oops! Well since it snuck up on us not much went on, which I am sad, because I love the 4th of July, well we always have next year.

We started off the morning watching Preston. The kids of course were so excited. it is so fun to watch him he is at the stage where they smile a lot and are starting to laugh, so cute. We took him on a walk and also introduced him to alittle sponge bob. The girls were pushing him in the stroller in the house which he thought was great, while I did my hair. When I was done I walked out and they had parked him in front of the TV and were all watching sponge Bob. I had to grab the camera of course.

The Girls were so good, he wouldn't fall asleep so they kept pushing the stroller around and the little guy fell right to sleep. What good mothers in training!

Later we headed up to Gardner's Village to take some pictures of the kids. But it was so hot the kids were melting, really they were. so we just looked around and head back for a BBQ with my Dad since My mom was out of town, and of course we topped of the night with the Pleasant Grove Fire Works.

I know not much. We will have to make up for it next year.

Best Friends or Enemy's ?

These 2 Girls came from one egg, spent 9month (Well almost 8) growing & developing together side by side and came into this world 48 seconds seconds apart, and you think they could have learned to get along by now! But, no they spend most of there days fighting with one another which usually ends up with one hitting or scratching the other and then screams as if someone was murdered. I am seriously giving motherhood a second thought, well I guess that is 3 kids to late, but I do dream about it! It is so weird because at times they are so cute and just love each other and say your my best friend but it is short lived. I love when I can hear them laughing together and playing in their room with the door shut I can just stand there and listen with a smile on my face it is so cute the way they interact( when they are getting along). And at the end of the day after I put them in their own beds and walk away later to return and find them asleep side my side in one bed, means that at the end of the day they are best buds again.It will be interesting to watch them as they grow, I know there will be many more fights just as any siblings but I hope their special bond will be present through there lives. Even though I know I have at least 14 years of fighting hitting and scratching, so bring it on!
