One last day of summer

We got lucky this year and we got a little taste of Strawberry Day's in September. My mom's ward put on a whole rodeo it was awesome almost like the real thing they even had the national anthem and a girl on a horse. Anyways the girls actually got on a sheep and did the mutton bustin is was so funny. Halli fell off before the sheep got out of the gate Kinzie held on for a minute and fell flat on her butt I am just surprised they even got on.

Mik did the Chicken run and caught one. It was funny to see all the kids chase after the chickens going in all directions.Of coarse the rodeo grounds were full of all kinds of goodies cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones , and did I say Cotton candy? The Girls had a few of those and had there sugar intake for the month! Mik of course could care less about sugar and treats he is not a candy guy or snack guy, he is more into games and real prizes!

In all it was a great day I hope they do it every year, the girls are all ready asking when they can go ride a sheep again, so watch out sheep farmers if we find you 2 girls might be be doing a little mutton bustin. And I must be dumb who would have thought you can still get a sunburn in September. We certainly all got a little pink in the face.

Hey! It's so good to hear from you. Your girls are getting so big, too.
They're beautiful. Mik is cute as always, he's gonna be quite the heart breaker. Hope you guys are doing well. We'll have to do a better job of keeping in touch.

That looks like so much fun! Your girls are so brave to get on the sheep! Hannah would have screamed if it had got anywhere near her! It makes me wish to be in Utah.
